Nature in the City Days

For this special performance in the open air theatre Rehberge (Freilichtbühne Rehberge), we have arranged a programme that contains some of the nicest traditional songs from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The songs tell about the area's nature, plants, animals and scenery.

For an optimal understanding of the English songs we give, as customary in our concerts, helpful explanations about the origin and contents of the respective songs in German.

We intentionally sing without electronic amplifying of our voices and the accompanying instruments – guitars, flutes, percussion – to preserve the naturalness and atmosphere of the location. What we wish to "amplify" our performance with instead is the joyful singing-along of our audience! We don't want to miss out on that on the 18th of June at 4 p.m.!
