About us
Our "Celtic Choir" started up in September 2008. At the moment the choir consists of 40 men and women of all age groups who are enthusiastic about the music from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
We meet every Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:30 pm in the piano room of "Haus Bottrop" (Schönwalder Str. 4, Berlin-Wedding). With our choir leader, Kathrin Henschen, we do vocal training exercises before we begin with our repertoire of traditional English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh songs.
Our repertoire is growing constantly. At the moment this consists of more than 40 pieces sung in unison or two to five part harmony. In addition to that we have a Christmas repertoire. Our repertoires always include songs which allow our audience to sing with us. This adds to the fun!
