Irish Celebration
This year the Celtic Choir and it's choir leader Lizzy Ahrens-Assem are very happy to present singers from a region whose music we so love to sing. We welcome our guests by opening the concert with a selection of our favourite irish songs.
The Tredagh singers from Drogheda in the Republic of Ireland is a choir of male and female voices which exists since 45 years and has acquired a great international repertoire. The choir led by choir leader Geraldine Doggett will delight our audience with well known irish songs.
The idea for the concert came about because the secretary of the choir is a brother of one of our Celtic Choir members. After the break the Lisburn Harmony Ladies Choir, a northern irish female choir led by the choir leader Kirsty Orr will join us on the stage. They sing all types of genres and love performing. They are very pleased today to sing irish songs alongside with Tredagh Singers and the Celtic Choir in Berlin.
As always the audience is very welcome to sing along with us!In the Himmelfahrtkirche on the 22nd of April 2017 at 4:00 PM
