Celtic Music - Choir and Harp
This September the Celtic Choir Berlin will embark on a musical journey with harpist Iduna Bockemühl on a journey of sound. In an interplay of harp and choral pieces, and songs together, we will explore the diversity and beauty of songs from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
This concert takes place within the framework of the European Folk Day, coordinated by the European Folk Network.
The Celtic Choir Berlin, founded in 2008, is a choir of currently 30 enthusiastic singers of all ages. The musical focus is on songs from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, enriched by songs from other countries of the world.
Musician and performer Iduna Bockemühl plays music from all over the world on the harp.
For many years she has performed with her Irish band "Berlin Folks" as well as with numerous solo programmes.
